This week the lecture spoke about how presenting, launching and evaluating the impact a project gives to its audience. Talks about how some agencies have created a union to allow more progression within the scope of a project that allows using more services to generate the impact it can have as a whole on cultures across the globe. Superunion consists of the previous five agencies collected into one where there is an opportunity to work on a broader range of clients that can have access to a whole range of services at their dispersal. This allows building a closer union to create bigger opportunities for the agency and clients together where they can expand their horizon to achieve great things with design and communications. This can lead to greater simplicity in their approach in working with the client and partners that will allow the design to reshape the client’s needs.

This interview with John Mescall, on the campaign ‘Dumb Ways of Die’ really talks about doing a project that is really simple and not a huge budget in creating an animation that sold on its idea. The technology was the result of creating a successful campaign as this allowed the messaging to have an impact on all platforms and across the globe, which became super popular. Gives you the belief that anyone can do a project like this anywhere without permission or a lot of money, just need things to go right and be super passionate about what you do.
